Construction (modernization) of boiler houses on various fuel types (gas, wood, pellets, waste wood, etc.);

Construction of boiler houses is one of the main business areas of Engineering Project Solutions. Construction of boiler houses is performed by highly skilled specialists according to approved project in strict adherence to modern standards and requirements of the Client with usage of specialized construction machinery.

Boiler house installation is very important and responsible procedure. It is necessary to consider every single detail in order to have a qualitative result. Construction and installation works shall be done by pure professionals.

Installation of industrial boiler houses shall be done as follows: at first the specialists shall go to the site to evaluate the scope of works and complexity of works. Data received are used for system design, than it is necessary to purchase equipment for boiler house. Concurrently it is necessary to arrange preparation of place for oncoming boiler house. Heating system is a complex of technical elements aimed to receipt, transfer and transmission of heat required to maintain temperature at a given level, to all heated premises. Said another way, it is a complex of elements which provides receipt, transfer and transmission of heat to heated premises. Heating system consists of the following:

  • Heat generator
  • Heat line
  • Heating units

Heat generator serves for heat receipt and transfer to heat carrier. Heat generators can be as follows:

  • Individual boiler houses
  • Block heating stations
  • Thermal power stations (TPS)

Heat lines ensure transportation of heat carrier from heat generator to heating units. Heat lines of heating system are divided into main lines, stays and feeds to units.

Heating units serve for heat transfer from heat carrier to air of heated premises. Heating system parameters depend on design property of specific building, namely on materials from which outside walls, roof, beams are made, as well on their thickness and heat insulator type.

‘Heat insulated floor’ system, convectors and traditional panel and section radiators are used as heating units in modern heating systems of buildings. Exact mix of these systems allows to spend energy sources efficiently and evenly distribute heat across premises.

Heating radiators and convectors provide maximum heat output of heat carrier system and can be used in different premises. Choice of equipment manufacturer is of significant importance for durability and energy-efficiency of heating system. Pipe lines and fittings of heating system are manufactured  according to European standards from high-strength materials ensuring  reliability of connections and durability of pipes operation.

Fire-fighting water line is a system for extinction of fire.

Water pipe is a system which provides water supply of building. A main task of waterpipe is uninterrupted water supply of accepted characteristics to water draw-off point. Various equipment is used for this purpose as follows: pumps, accumulator tanks, filter systems.

Main task of sewerage systems is consistent used water withdrawal from house to purification unit, and high-quality purification of incoming drains. Storm sewerage is atmospheric deposition withdrawal, also it is possible to construct accumulation and usage system by way of industrial water.

Construction of ventilation and air-conditioning (chillers, air-handling units, air circuit assembling);

Construction of ventilation and air-conditioning systems is of significant importance for building construction. Ventilation ensures necessary level of fresh air supply to comply with sanitary norms of air exchange inside the premise. It is necessary to consider the number of basic data – from climatic characteristics of region to air treatment requirements, in order to make ventilation operation as appropriate. Maximum permissible concentrations index (MPC) which can be a natural dust and poisonous gases, emitted at production, shall be considered primary in construction of ventilation of industrial buildings. Based on this index, the calculation for industrial ventilation is done for the purpose of decrease of concentration and removal of harmful substances.

Ventilation in buildings of industrial purpose is done in two directions – local exhaust ventilation and general exchange ventilation system. At the same time local exhaust ventilation removes approximately 70% of harmful substances in air, and general exchange ventilation system functions as air supply provision and harmful substances removal in places where it is impossible to apply local exhaust ventilation.

Conditioning is required to maintain appropriate conditions for people, technological process and raw material safety.

Air-conditioners are divided into 3 parts in terms of necessity:

  • Domestic
  • Semi-industrial
  • Industrial

Split systems of wall type and floor-ceiling type with the capacity up to 5 kW of internal unit are classified as domestic air-conditioners. All split systems  of cassette type, column type, floor-ceiling type and wall-type with the power above 5kW are referred to semi-industrial air-conditioners. Air-conditioners simultaneously connected by 2-4 cassette type, canal type, floor-ceiling type or column type internal units to one external unit. Such systems with external outdoor unit above 10kW are classified as VRV (VRF) systems.

Duct Unitary is a separate category to which refer all canal air-conditioners, rooftops and cabinet-unit type monoblocks of internal installation irregardless of its capacity.

Central systems of air conditioning is a separate equipment category. Central air conditioners and air-handling units, water-cooling machines – chillers, fancoils, condensation units and cooling stacks refer to equipment of the same type irregardless of power.

Construction of gas infra red and air heating  systems of buildings production;

Gas infra red heating is heating by means of luminous power. When using gas infrared heating, the desired temperature is created in a way of emission absorption by objects which are in the area of beams act.

Advantages of gas infrared heating

  • Fuel saving. In comparison with another types of heating, gas infrared heating economizes resources in 3-5 times
  • Phase-in or shutdown. Gasification of enterprises with infrared heating allows to plan phase commissioning of gas equipment

The advantage of air heating system is  provision of dehumidification, humidification, ventilation, purification and fresh air intake across all premises. Also air-heating allows to ensure microclimate performance of buildings of high categorization for fire-explosive hazards.

Construction (modernization) of boiler houses on various  fuel types for provision of technological processes of different productions (steam, diathermic oil, high pressure hot water);

Steam boiler house is equipment system which is a member of single heat scheme, located in boiler house building. This complex transfers its heat to heat carrier by means of fuel combustion. Usually, water vapour or just water is used as heat carrier but sometimes organic or artificial oil can be used.

Specialists use specific construction standards in construction of technological boiler houses. General recommendations and rules for design refer to all types of boiler houses, which work on various types of heat carriers with different temperature of their heat. Differences in boiler houses where heat carrier is neither water nor steam, but high-temperature organic fluid (300 degrees and more) – diathermic oil, refer mainly to more scrupulous compliance with fire safety rules.

Main specific feature of boiler houses which use diathermic oil as a heat carrier is possibility to increase ambient operating temperature up to 300˚C, at the same time keeping normal pressure.

Such specific feature  to keep constantly high temperature of internal heat carrier ensures the main advantage of such boiler houses. The same units are critical on production sites and plant floors, particularly when there is a necessary condition which is a continuous heating of substances and materials (oil-products, roofing materials, etc) during technological  process.

Provision of heat carrier of appropriate quality  is a necessary condition for reliable and long-term work of boiler houses on diathermic oil. Oil shall be renewed to a new one, and its content shall be checked regularly in specific laboratories. Construction of boiler house shall be designed in detail in order to render impossible fuel oil leak to environment. 

Construction of cargo defrost systems in railcars;
